Empirical have quickly established themselves as the foremost young jazz act in the UK, with five astonishing musicians combining their ambition, talent and vision to create the future sound of modern British jazz. The Cambridge Folk Festival is one of the longest running and most famous folk festivals in the world. This annual four day outdoor event is funded and organised by Cambridge City Council Arts & Entertainments, on a non-profit making basis, and has recently received a second Government Chartermark for Excellence.
